I adore this website, I've used it for a few years now. Every now and again I've been accepted to be a product tester as part of their 'Savvy Circle' of brand ambassadors for several different products from shampoos to laundry products. There's a wealth of information on different things from smart shopping and money saving to home, lifestyle and beauty - but what I love about the site most are their coupons! Currently there are some fabulous coupon offers from some big named brands on the website, simply add your coupons to your shopping basket, print off and away you go!

Asda Price Gaurantee
Image result for asda price guarantee

I have touched on this before in my previous blog which has been shared across the media on how to save from your receipts, the little pieces of paper that normally hide in our cupboards, purses, wallets and cars. If you are interested in saving money or potentially earning cash back on your receipts, read my seperate blog post about it HERE (as shared in the media).

So what exactly is the Asda Price Gaurantee? We moved several months ago and with the move we had to change supermarkets, from Tesco to Asda which is more local for us. I always enjoyed the clubcard savings we received from our regularly grocery shops at Tesco however when they abandoned the doubling up on points which many used to save up for big holidays such as Christmas I had started to look around for somewhere else to spend our money. For reference, the Asda Price Guarantee says that you’ll never pay more for a branded product, even on offer, than a competing supermarket. If the item would be cheaper elsewhere, or even the same price, Asda guarantee to give you a voucher for 10% extra off.

With a large family we shop on a weekly basis, ending up with several receipts. It's nice being able to go back in with a few vouchers at the end of the month based on what you have already purchased and the price difference.

Asda compares your shopping against Morrisons (instore) and Waitrose.com (excludes Northern Ireland) Tesco.com and Sainsburys.co.uk. You must have purchased at least eight seperate items of which at least one must be comparable to the above shops to count.

There are several apps that can earn you cashback and give you vouchers, these are Checkoutsmart, Clicksnap, Shopmium (enter code AMACGMKT after clicking the link to find out how to claim a FREE Nutella jar), Topcashback and Greenjinn (read more about these in my latest blog post here, or click on the links to take you directly to the apps in question).

Writing to companies

Do you have a brand favourite or product you absolutely love? Taking the time to write to companies can be useful, sometimes as a goodwill gesture in the form of a coupon will be sent in return - however please do not abuse this.

If you have anything else you could share, or some handy coupon codes that you don't mind me publishing please feel free to get in touch!

Making extra money without the extra effort? Here's how!

As a busy Mummy of three with a small business taking up the minuscule moments of spare time I have when I’m not running errands, doing homework or refereeing squabbling youngsters/feeding the hungry hoard, over the summer months I came across a few ways to make some extra money without the hassle.  As any of you who know me will know, I’ve dabbled in MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) started my own crafts business and become quite the bargain hunter since becoming a stay-at-home Mum in 2015. With Christmas looming the season of gift-giving and over indulgence like me you might not have wanted to make your already hectic life schedule that little bit more manic by taking on extra work, so can you really make extra money without the extra effort? Here are a few pocket money makers I have been using over the past few weeks and getting to grips with which I have found successful in...
